The DB2 Run-Time Client Lite is designed to be redistributable by independent software vendors (ISVs) and to be used for application distribution in mass deployment scenarios typical of large enterprises. The DB2 Run-Time Client Lite also provides Merge Modules that can be used by other Windows Installer based installations to easily embed connectivity to DB2 Universal Database servers in your own application.
